Hotel Verdant grew out of an idea that reflects the city’s community and values. Our hotel is located in what was once the Zahn’s Department Store building, an iconic shopping destination popular with residents since 1898. Breathing new life into the center of downtown, this project was always about sowing more than a place for visitors to stay the night. We’re proud to be part of a story of renewal, to share Racine’s longstanding Danish hospitality with our guests, and to grow sustainably to make a positive impact within the community.
